Thomas Trompeter, Chief Executive Officer, HealthPoint
Thomas Trompeter, MPA is the President and Chief Executive Officer for HealthPoint, a Community Health Center providing care for 80,000 people in suburban King County each year. Mr. Trompeter has been with HealthPoint since 1996 and has served as its CEO since 1998.
Prior to joining HealthPoint, Mr. Trompeter served as the Executive Director of the Northwest Regional Primary Care Association, an association of Community and Migrant Health Centers in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Mr. Trompeter was with NWRPCA from 1986 until 1996.
Mr. Trompeter has worked with non-profit providers of health care and social services to underserved people for over 30 years and serves on several related non-profit boards of directors.
Mr. Trompeter holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington.
FOUNDERS DAY AWARDS
Les Griffith, ND, Student Award
This award given annually in Dr. Griffith's name will be granted to a current student who has achieved eminence in their field of study and has rendered exceptional service to the University, bettering the entire Bastyr community and advancing the University's objectives and ideals.
Joseph E. Pizzorno, Jr., ND, Alumna/Alumnus Award
This award given annually in Dr. Pizzorno's name will be granted to an alumnus who has achieved eminence in his/her field of study and has rendered exceptional service to Bastyr, bettering the entire Bastyr community and advancing the University's objectives and ideals.
William A. Mitchell, ND, Service Merit Award
This award given annually in Dr. Mitchell's name will recognize exemplary philanthropy and outstanding dedication to Bastyr University
Sheila Quinn, Service to Society Award
This award recognizes an individual who is pursuing his/her education and provides outstanding leadership in volunteer service and civic engagement to their community and neighbors.
